You are on the site of the community supporting the Free and Open Source Software thematic group of the System@tic Competitiveness cluster.

This thematic group is dedicated to Free and Open Source Software in the Paris area.

This projet aims to federate Free and Open Source Siftware actors in the Paris area, and more broadly, in Île de France; we want to promote a healthy and thriving industry based on Free and Open Source Software, in tioght connection with education and research, and favor the developmente of innovative Free and Open Source Software taking advantage of the scientific advances which abound in the region.

By nature, Free and Open Source Software is and will be borderless, so we will be open to the world, and build cooperations with partners in all of France and all around the world.

The first meeting of the Thematic Group is held on october 24th 2007 in Paris see plan and schedule.
